FANUC M-1000iA ultra-heavy-payload 6-axis robot adopts large-size serial-link architecture. Different from M-900iB parallel-link robots, its J3 joint enables large-angle back-flip motion, allowing the arm to stand upright and rotate backward, minimizing mechanical interference and delivering an enlarged working envelope for higher cell-layout flexibility. It provides 1000 kg wrist payload, 3253 mm maximum reach and ±0.1 mm repeatability with 5300 kg manipulator weight, floor-mount only. High-torque high-inertia wrist supports large offset heavy end-effectors. Wrist IP67 and body IP54 protection resist dust, metal chips and industrial coolant. Typical applications include giant gigacasting part handling, large battery pack transfer, heavy mould transportation, heavy-duty assembly and heavy-load drilling.
