The KR 180 R2900-2 F is KUKA mechanical body customised for foundry applications. F stands for Foundry version, engineered for harsh workshop environments with high temperature, heavy metal dust and splashing molten slag. It retains the same basic mechanical structure, 180kg rated payload and 2900mm working radius as the standard KR180 R2900-2. Its body rigidity and positioning accuracy remain unchanged, with factory reinforcement upgraded for foundry service. The robot body is coated with special high-temperature resistant, anti-corrosion and wear-resistant industrial coating to resist thermal radiation, metal dust adhesion and mild chemical corrosion in foundry workshops. Reinforced sealing is equipped on all joint axes to greatly improve protection against dust, molten slag and oil penetration, effectively preventing gearbox contamination, oil leakage and shaft wear failure under high temperature. Without structural damage, the body supports long-term continuous stable operation in die casting and forging workshops.
