This pre-owned FANUC M-20iB/35S is a short-arm heavy-duty specialized model of the M-20iB series, targeting automation requirements for narrow spaces, dense stations and heavy-workpiece handling. Compared with standard-arm variants, it features a compact short-arm structure with minimal-interference body design. Offering 35 kg maximum payload and 1445 mm reach, it delivers stronger load capacity within a compact working envelope, enabling flexible interference-free operation in tight equipment gaps and compact automated cells.
It retains the proven hollow arm and hollow wrist design with fully internal cables and air hoses. No exposed wiring reduces component wear and extends service life. Improved structural rigidity and torque output keep stable high-precision performance even under full 35 kg load, with superior anti-vibration capability versus conventional short-arm robots. It supports floor and ceiling inverted mounting, well-suited for multi-machine dense layout in small workshops.
Equipped with the high-reliability R-30iB controller, it provides fast axis response, high cycle efficiency and accurate positioning. It is widely used for narrow-space CNC dense-cell loading-unloading, heavy-fixture handling at compact stations, heavy-part sorting on tight production lines, mold pick-and-place and confined-space automated assembly, making it a preferred option for narrow-space heavy-load automation retrofitting.
