The KR 120 R2700-2 F is a custom mechanical body from KUKA dedicated to foundry applications. F stands for Foundry version, engineered for harsh industrial environments characterized by high temperatures, heavy dust and severe contamination. It shares the same basic body structure as the standard model, with a rated payload of 120 kg and a reach of 2700 mm. Its core rigidity and precision specifications remain unchanged, while the unit has undergone original factory reinforcement for foundry-grade service.
The arm is finished with a special high-temperature resistant, anti-corrosive and wear-resistant industrial coating, which effectively withstands radiant heat in foundry workshops, adhesion of metal dust and mild chemical corrosion. Reinforced sealing structures are adopted across all axes to greatly enhance protection against dust, slag and oil penetration, preventing gearbox contamination, oil leakage and shaft component wear under high-temperature working conditions.
It is suitable for demanding applications including die casting, forging, casting part handling, casting sand cleaning and high-temperature workpiece transfer.
