The KR 150 R3100-2 F is KUKA mechanical body dedicated to foundry conditions. The suffix F stands for Foundry version, developed for harsh workshop environments with high temperature, heavy metal dust and splashing slag. It retains the same basic mechanical structure, 150kg rated payload and 3100mm working radius as the standard KR150 R3100-2. Its body rigidity and positioning accuracy remain unchanged, with factory reinforcement upgraded for foundry service. The robot body is coated with special high-temperature resistant, anti-corrosion and wear-resistant industrial coating to resist thermal radiation, metal dust adhesion and mild chemical corrosion in foundry workshops. Reinforced sealing is equipped on all joint axes to greatly improve protection against dust, molten slag and oil penetration, effectively preventing gearbox contamination, oil leakage and shaft wear failure under high temperature.
